Operations Integrator

Davey & Krista is a design education and Showit website template business built for creative entrepreneurs. We help photographers, coaches, and service providers launch beautiful, strategic websites and we teach designers how to build the skills and business to do the same for others. Our brands include a Showit template shop, Brand Design Academy, and DesignEdit, a weekly newsletter and membership for designers who want to stay on the cutting edge of AI and modern workflows.

We're a small, close-knit team that takes the work seriously without taking ourselves too seriously. We value people who jump in, figure things out, communicate clearly, and genuinely care about the people we serve.

About Us

What We Value on Our Team

A few things that matter a lot to us, so you know what you're walking into:

We believe giving is part of how we do business — not as a line item, but as a core commitment. We have a culture of generosity and it shows up in how we treat our team, our students, and our community.

We believe mistakes are okay. What's not okay is hiding them or letting them happen twice. Extreme ownership is something we try to model and expect from everyone.

We praise in public and have hard conversations in private. Feedback is part of growing here, not something to be afraid of.

We're building something that lasts — not just the next launch. If you're in it for the long game, you'll feel right at home.

We're looking for an Operations Integrator to be the connective tissue of this business — the person who makes sure nothing falls through the cracks, launches run smoothly, and our students and community feel taken care of.

This is not a passive admin role. You'll be in the middle of the action: managing launches, coordinating the team, owning the inbox, collecting student stories, and keeping the systems humming between campaigns. You'll work closely with Krista and interface with our full team — design, video, content, and support.

If you love the feeling of a well-run launch, get satisfaction from clearing an inbox, and light up a little when someone asks "who owns this?" and the answer is you — this might be exactly what you're looking for.

The ROLE

Operations Integrator

What You'll Do

Launch Operations
You'll own the repeatable tasks that make every launch run: building out checklists, coordinating timelines across the team, setting up community spaces, scheduling communications, and making sure nothing gets dropped in the chaos of open cart week.

Inbox and Communications
You'll manage Krista's business inbox — triaging, responding to common inquiries, flagging what needs her attention, and making sure no student or customer goes without a response. You won't be writing from scratch every time; you'll have templates and a clear voice guide to work from.

Student and Community Engagement
You'll help keep our student communities active and cared for — scheduling posts, following up with students, collecting testimonials, gathering student Instagram handles, and surfacing stories that deserve to be told. This is one of the most important parts of the role. The people we serve matter more than the metrics, and you'll be the person closest to that.

Testimonial Collection
After every launch and throughout the year, you'll run a consistent process for collecting student testimonials — reaching out, following up, organizing what comes in, and making it easy for the team to use them in content and launches.

Repeat Systems and SOPs
You'll build and maintain the repeatable systems that keep things running. If something gets done twice, it should have a process. You'll own that documentation and make it better over time.

Scheduling and Calendar Coordination
You'll manage scheduling across the team — keeping Krista's calendar protected, making sure launches stay on timeline, and coordinating across departments so the right people know what's happening when.

Skills and Experience

We're looking for someone with experience in some combination of the following — you don't need all of it, but the more of it you have, the better:

  • Operations, project management, or executive assistant work in a small business or creative agency
  • Experience with online course launches, webinars, or digital product businesses
  • Comfort with tools like Kajabi, Kit (formerly ConvertKit), Slack, Clickup, or similar platforms (we'll train on our specific stack, but familiarity with this world matters)
  • Strong writing skills — you can communicate clearly in Krista's voice with minimal editing
  • Experience managing an inbox or customer communications for someone else
  • Community management experience (Circle, Facebook Groups, or similar)
