“One of the phrases I use all the time is permission plus pathway equals action. Why do people not take action, is one of those two reasons. They don’t have permission, meaning they have convinced themselves that either they are not qualified or they don’t have the right or they aren’t skilled enough or whatever. Or they don’t know how.”
Today I am joined by photographer and business coach, Chad DiBlasio. Chad is a wedding and portrait photographer based in Central Ohio and he enjoys helping other entrepreneurs to grow their businesses.
I went into the conversation intending to chat with Chad about where he sees business owners getting stuck and tips for getting un-stuck. But our conversation took a bit of a turn. As he shared his story about getting started, he mentioned a few things that I thought were interesting, so we explored those topics a bit. We chatted about things like sales and how being a good sales person can actually improve a client’s experience. And we covered things like how you probably need a lot less than you think in order to get started. Even though it’s not the conversation we set out to have, I think it’s an interesting one. A big thanks to Chad for letting me take it in a different direction!

More about Chad DiBlasio:
Hey, I’m Chad. I’m a Central Ohio based wedding and portrait photographer with a serious passion for stories and creating the life my wife and I have always dreamed about. When I’m not busy with my 6 kiddos, watching “This Is Us,” or making things – I spend my time pinning home improvement dreams and learning about essential oils – I’m actually a bit of a hippie. I thoroughly enjoy laughing, riding motorcycles, working with my hands and a nicely edged yard. I’ve been a photographer and small business creator for over a decade and I love to talk tech and help other entrepreneurs grow businesses thru education and inspiration!
