Interview with Laylee Emadi

"The first thing I would say to someone wanting to establish themselves is where do you want to establish yourself? What do you want to be known for? What do you want people to come to you with questions about? Then start talking about those things in the arena of an expert."

In today’s episode, I’m chatting with my friend Laylee, about becoming an educator, and how to actually build authority as an educator. Laylee shares her thoughts on the importance of what you choose to share with your audience, and how to ensure that your message actually resonates with them.

She also dives into her top strategies for creating connections that are more profound than your average email or DM, and how those relationships can elevate your business and personal growth.

Today’s episode is sponsored by BDOW!, formerly Sumo, the very best intelligent form and pop-up tool for your website. Deliver the right message, to the right visitor, using our advanced targeting rules. Whether you want to display a pop-up to only new visitors, or generate a unique discount code for those who subscribe to your list, you can get the job done using BDOW!

One of my personal favorite features is the Showit tab function. Basically how this works is when visitors close the pop-up, it minimizes to the bottom of the page so that visitors can open it back up if they’d like, but it also remains out of their way while they browse. You can check out how that feature works over at the Davey and Krista website.
