BTB Episode 103: Crafting a PR Strategy

Brands that Book Show

Dr. Tiffany Eurich

“What we fail, sometimes, to see is that there’s this great big broad umbrella that is strategy. Some people will call that marketing, some people will call that public relations, but within that you have tactics. So your blog, your Facebook ads, those are all tactics and activities. When you can understand the bigger overarching goal, then you can more quickly and nimbly move through effective tactics to meet the goals.”

Today’s guest is Dr. Tiffany Eurich, a PR expert who gives us an absolute master class on PR and how it has the potential to get $1,000,000 exposure for businesses of any size regardless of budget. I think PR is one of those areas that’s worth exploring and investing in, because in addition to getting more exposure for your business, it has so many secondary benefits.

If you ever felt that PR was only for “big businesses” or don’t even know where to start when it comes to crafting a PR strategy for your business, you’re in luck because we chat about all that and more in this episode. Be sure to check out the show notes at daveyandkrista.com for the resources we mentioned during the episode, including access to a “Press Kit in a Day” download from Dr. Tiffany.

More about Tiffany

Dr. Tiffany Eurich loves storytelling and the way a well-told story can change the trajectory of a brand. She helps business owners discover and successfully pitch the kinds of stories that make the media, influencers, and potential clients stop and take notice. An author, former TV personality, and university-professor-turned-PR-agency-owner, she knows that every brand has the potential to get million dollar exposure, no matter their budget. Tiffany helps creatives develop simple, streamlined public relations strategies (and rack up “as seen on” features for their brand), because being a best-kept-secret is a great compliment, but a terrible business model. She lives on a vineyard with an assortment of farm animals and a killer shoe collection.

    Meet Davey & Krista

We've spent 15+ years designing brands and websites for creative businesses — and paying close attention to what actually works.

Every template we've built is informed by real client projects, real conversion data, and a deep understanding of what makes someone go from browsing to booking. We don't just design for beautiful. We design for what happens after someone lands on your page.

That's why our templates don't just come with files. They come with the guidance to use them — writing prompts, launch checklists, and systems that take you from purchase to published.

We also teach. Our designer courses are where we train the next generation of designers, and DesignEdit is our newsletter for working creatives who want to stay ahead of AI. All of it comes from the same place: the belief that good design should make your business feel lighter, not harder.
