We love combining this contemporary serif, Chronicle Display, with a clean sans serif like Questrial.
Chronicle Display is a versatile font that looks great for both headlines and body copy (the body copy on our site is Chronicle Display). If we’re using it for a headline, we like to set it in all caps and increase the letter-spacing a bit.
Questrial is a free Google font that looks great set in spaced out all caps for subheadings as well as body copy. Sans serifs have a tendency to be cold and a little dull (think Arial,) but the rounded shapes in Questrial make it feel inviting and elegant all at the same time.
