“I wonder if women in my community would be interested in using their purchasing power for good. And so at my 30th birthday a few days later, I told all my best friends around the table that I was quitting my job, I had found this truck on Craigslist in Western North Carolina that I was going to buy. It was an old Cintas Uniform delivery truck. And that I was going to buy that and convert that to a little boutique on wheels and I would call it “The Flourish Market,” where every product would have a bigger purpose. And I did in October 2015.”
Today’s guest is Emily Sexton, the founder and CEO of The Flourish Market, a shop where every product has a bigger purpose, just like you. And purpose is much of what we chat about today. Emily shares with us how we can craft the mission and message of our own businesses. I think this is critical in communicating effectively about the value of what we do.
