Brands that Book Show

I think an admin assistant or a virtual assistant is a quote on quote easy first hire that allows you to off hand some of those tasks that you could do a loom video and show somebody how to do this if they don’t know how, I can get somebody in whether it’s scheduling blog content, scheduling email content, jumping in and helping you with DMS, or being in your inbox training them how to to that. I feel like for a lot of solopreneurs myself included it’s fear that keeps us from wanting to pass off the task but if you find the right person to pass that task too it will free up your time.”

More About Kat

I’m Kat Schmoyer, business coach + founder of Creative at Heart! For the past 7 years I’ve built 3 brands, made lots of mistakes and re-filled my coffee cup more times than I can count! I’ve been called: wedding planner, florist, conference host, template shop owner, course creator, coach & membership founder. I’ve learned how to pivot my business due to changes in the industry, changes in family finances or just because I wanted a change of scenery (hello serial entrepreneur!). I currently work from home with my high school sweetheart turned business partner and our two children.

    Meet Davey & Krista

We've spent 15+ years designing brands and websites for creative businesses — and paying close attention to what actually works.

Every template we've built is informed by real client projects, real conversion data, and a deep understanding of what makes someone go from browsing to booking. We don't just design for beautiful. We design for what happens after someone lands on your page.

That's why our templates don't just come with files. They come with the guidance to use them — writing prompts, launch checklists, and systems that take you from purchase to published.

We also teach. Our designer courses are where we train the next generation of designers, and DesignEdit is our newsletter for working creatives who want to stay ahead of AI. All of it comes from the same place: the belief that good design should make your business feel lighter, not harder.
