Although we compress our images with Blogstomp or Photoshop before we upload them to a website, we’ve found that running them through an online optimizer can reduce their size by 75% and significantly improve a website’s speed (without compromising when it comes to quality!) We recently tested out a few compressors and found that TinyPNG / Ting JPG consistently reduces the size of our images without affecting the way they look (vital for photographers & any one in the creative world!)
This new software would be great for anyone updating their website, portfolio or adding images to a blog post! If you’re consistently blogging posts with many images (such as weddings), it would be nice to run all of the images for each post through TinyPNG before uploading them to your blog post editor.
