Expand Your Reach

Interview w/ Christi-An Bowler

"People are going to connect with you when they're seeing themselves in you. People just need to rip the bandaid off and show themselves because that's what is going to relate to people."

Christi-An Bowler of Cab’s Insta Academy joins me for a converstation about building your business with Instagram. I am really excited to share this episode because Cab shares so many practical tips. It was definitely one of those episodes where I had a number of lightbulb moments about my own business. As soon as I got off this call, Krista and I started chatting about how we can implement some of the ideas that I picked up from this episode.

I really appreciated how Cab thinks through how each aspect of Instagram works towards the businesses larger goals, from reels and carousels to stories and feed posts. I think this is the perfect episode if you struggle with consistency, determining what kind of content to create on Instagram, how you should show up, or if you’re hesitant to commit to video and you just want a strategy that makes sense. I was really motivated after this episode to revisit our Instagram strategy and I hope you are too.

More About Cab

Seven years ago Christi-An was a full time Starbucks barista when she dove into the world of direct sales. She was able to build an online business successfully with zero experience and zero following. Within 9 months time her online business had taken off significantly enough that she was able to not only put her daughter through private school but quit her job to work solely from wifi.

Christi-An launched ‘Cab’s Insta Academy’ to teach women how to become unapologetically confident in their voice, their ability to lead, AND run a lucrative business year after year via Instagram!

CIA is a 9 module program to teach the fundamentals and methods that allowed her to build a successful business – all from her phone in pockets of time! Consider it your Instagram blueprint for authentically building a personal brand that amplifies confidence, impact, and income.

    Meet Davey & Krista

We've spent 15+ years designing brands and websites for creative businesses — and paying close attention to what actually works.

Every template we've built is informed by real client projects, real conversion data, and a deep understanding of what makes someone go from browsing to booking. We don't just design for beautiful. We design for what happens after someone lands on your page.

That's why our templates don't just come with files. They come with the guidance to use them — writing prompts, launch checklists, and systems that take you from purchase to published.

We also teach. Our designer courses are where we train the next generation of designers, and DesignEdit is our newsletter for working creatives who want to stay ahead of AI. All of it comes from the same place: the belief that good design should make your business feel lighter, not harder.
